Epiphytic Utricularia

Epiphytic bladderworts occur in tropical rainforests, mainly inhabiting tree bark, which is most often covered with moss. They have much larger flowers and leaves than terrestrial species. They prefer well-drained substrates and a moist, but not wet, environment; they should not stand in water all the time. Most epiphytic species also prefer slightly lower temperatures and night-time temperature drops. It is worth providing high air humidity and good ventilation. They are well-suited for various terrarium arrangements or orchidariums.
